Thanksgiving
My parents arrived on Wednesday night. The visit went good. There were many ups and downs in the whole trip.
Thanksgiving Day I cooked so much food to feed an army. We had Cajun Fried Turkey, rolls, cornbread dressing, giblet gravy, cranberry salad, green bean casserole, vegetable medley, sweet potato casserole, pumpkin and pecan pie. (The pies actually didn't get eaten until Friday we were too stuffed on Thursday). After lunch we watched the cowboys and then headed to the movies. Me, B and my little sister went to see Twilight. We tried to go to bed early to get up for the sales Friday morning but it didn't happen.

Friday morning we went to JCPenny at 430(got a heating blanket and pillows), then Sears at 5am (got B a drill set) and then to Target by 6am. We were number 7,8,9 in line. We were after the 26inch TV for my sister. After that we headed to SAMS where Brian and I decided we would get a WII for each for our Christmas gifts. We haven't stopped playing it since. We went back to the mall for a bit but were done by noon and it was time for a nap. Made dinner that night for the family.
Saturday we went to the King Tut exhibit and showed my parents our soon to be house. Things are still on schedule to close on Dec. 5. Then it was time to watch the Iron Bowl where Auburn lost. Boo! And then last night B grilled hamburgers and I made a lot of sides.
My family left this morning and it was definitely very sad. On a happier note B and I do not have to go to the grocery store we have so much food left over.
Hope your Thanksgiving was great!!
